چکیده

Introduction: Angiogenesis in the central nervous system is visible animal models of neuroinflammation and bone cancer pain. However, whether spinal angiogenesis exists contributes to sensitization neuropathic pain remains unclear. This study analyzes impact on Methods: Rats with chronic constriction injury (CCI) sciatic nerve underwent implantation an intrathecal catheter. Fumagillin or vascular endothelial growth factor-A antibody (anti-VEGF-A) was administered intrathecally. Nociceptive behaviors, cytokine immunoassay, Western blot, immunohistochemical analysis assessed effect inhibition CCI-induced Results: VEGF, cluster differentiation 31 (CD31), von Willebrand factor (vWF) expressions increased after CCI ipsilateral lumbar cord compared that contralateral side control rats from post-operative day (POD) 7 28, a peak at POD 14. Tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin-1β (IL-1β), IL-6 concentrations, but not IL-10 levels, also CCI. anti-VEGF-A reduced thermal hyperalgesia 5 14 mechanical allodynia 3 CCI-upregulated angiogenic factors astrocytes. Furthermore, fumagillin decreased TNF-α amounts levels 14, IL-1β concentrations. Conclusions: significantly ameliorates nociceptive sensitization, angiogenesis, astrocyte activation. Our results suggest inhibitor treatment suppresses peripheral neuropathy-induced neuroinflammation, activation,

P 15: Forced Exercise Attenuates Neuropathic Pain in Chronic Constriction Injury Male Rat: An Approach to Oxidative Stress and Inflammation

Introduction: Peripheral and central nerve injuries cause chronic neuropathic pain in many injured people besides motor disability. Exercise, as a behavioral and non-pharmacological treatment, has beneficial effects on people’s general health both for healthy and sick people. Therefore, this study was conducted to examine the effects of exercise on neuropathic pain induced by chronic cons...

P59: Effect of Umbelliprenin on Behavioral Responses of Neuropathic Pain and the Expression of Inflammatory Factors in Chronic Constriction Injury Model of Neuropathic Pain in Male Rats

Despite extensive investigations, the main mechanisms underlying neuropathic pain development are still not fully understood and there is no effective treatment for that. So intensive research is being done for finding new, efficient analgesic drugs. 56 male Wistar rats (230±30) were divided into 7 groups (n=8); control, sham, CCI and 3 Umbelliprenin groups (25, 50 and 100 microgram/rat)...

Effects of combined chronic progesterone administration and forced exercise on behavioral pain responses in the neuropathic pain model of chronic constriction injury in rats

Introduction: Neuropathic pain is a chronic pain that results from damage to the central and peripheral nerves. According to the previous studies, physical activity or progesterone can be an effective treatment for alleviating sensory neuropathic pain individually. In this way, the combined effect of chronic progesterone and forced exercise on behavioral pain responses in the neuropathic pain m...

Effects of co-administration of chronic curcumin and forced exercise on behavioral pain responses in the neuropathic pain model of chronic constriction injury in rats

Introduction: Neuropathic pain is a chronic pain that results from damage to the central and peripheral nerves. According to the previous studies, curcumin and exercise can be effective treatments for alleviating sensory neuropathic pain individually. Now the combined effect of chronic curcumin (Cur) and forced exercise on behavioral pain responses in the neuropathic pain model of chronic const...

Mechanisms of chronic central neuropathic pain after spinal cord injury.

Not all spinal contusions result in mechanical allodynia, in which non-noxious stimuli become noxious. The studies presented use the NYU impactor at 12.5 mm drop or the Infinite Horizons Impactor (150 kdyn, 1 s dwell) devices to model spinal cord injury (SCI). Both of these devices and injury parameters, if done correctly, will result in animals with above level (forelimb), at level (trunk) and...
